60 Hours in NYC Full Itinerary!

Updated: Feb 11, 2022

I’ve used a combination of both my trips to NYC to produce a jam-packed itinerary, making the most of only 3 nights in NYC. Perfect for weekend trips over a bank holiday or when annual leave is in short supply!

Day 1

  • Flight into JFK Airport

  • Arrived approximately 5pm

  • Checked into hotel and immediately went out exploring.

  • Headed to the Rockefeller Centre and purchased a timed ticket for later in the evening.

  • Straight to Times Square

  • Eat at Joes Pizza for a slice of pizza as big as my head!

  • Collect Broadway tickets for shows the following night

  • Back to the Rockefeller to see NYC lit up at night!

Day 2

  • Walk to the Empire State Building for opening time to avoid queues

*grab a Starbucks on the way*

  • Go up the Empire State Building for THIS view - timing is everything here so give this post a read to see how to ensure you get this view!

  • Walk to the Flatiron Building

*grab avocado toast from a street vendor*

  • Walk up Fifth Avenue to Central Park

  • Visit Gapstow Bridge, Bow Bridge and Bethesda Terrace

  • Boat ride on the lake or ice skating (weather dependent)

  • Visit The Met

  • Stop off at Serendipity 3 or Dylans Candy Bar for an afternoon pick me up

  • Back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner and a show

  • Grab dinner at BareBurger near Broadway

  • Go to one of the many Broadway shows on offer!

Day 3

  • Grab a breakfast scone from Donna Bell’s Bake Shop on the way to Pier 83

  • Take a Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise down the Hudson River to see the Statue of Liberty.

  • Visit the Friends Apartment in the West Village (90 Bedford Street)

  • Grab a coffee from Hugh Jackman’s Coffee Shop in Tribeca at the Laughing Man Café

  • Visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum and the Oculus Shopping Centre

  • Walk across Brooklyn Bridge

  • Visit the Brooklyn Flea Market

  • Return to Manhattan via the F Line or the Water Taxi from Pier 1

Day 4

  • Grab a breakfast at Little Collins

  • Shopping on Fifth Avenue – my favourites were Tiffany’s, Lululemon and Kate Spade

  • Visit Grand Central Station (a must for any Gossip Girl fans!)

  • Taxi to JFK Airport to return home.
